Hope Award Updates: Polls Closed...

We thought the polls were safe and should have no glitches, but we have totally underestimated the power of internet and computers once again. Yesterday, there were some irregular activities on the polls and we actually found a way to beat the system and vote multiple times. We also found out someone with a similar IP address have been visiting the polls 86 times at around the same half an hour. We’ve decided, in the terms of fairness, we closed the polls.

But that’s not the end of it; we still want to know who your favourites are. We want you to submit your votes to our email, 65hope@gmail.com before the 12th of June, Thursday. Winners will now be based on 50% poll votes, 30% submission votes and 20% by panel of judges. We will reveal who our panel of judges soon. Here are the lists of nominees once again.

1st Hope Award happens on 14th June 2008 at Chamber, The Arts House. Doors open at 2.30pm and admission is only $5. The event also marks our first anniversary in the local hip-hop scene, and we seriously like to thank everyone who has supported us since June last year. To the haters, we’re sorry, but we won’t be leaving so soon.
